HexBore Encoder (NON CAN)
Prepare Case Top
Place top case flat on table with opening facing facing toward you.
Press large bearing into top cavity on top case.
Once the side with the 4 dots is facing you, and the side with 1 dot is facing away from you, press the hexgear into the bearing.
Align the two gears, and press the maggear into the slot.
Program Board

Layout programming materials.

Power on encoder programming box using 12V barrel jack. Switch Power switch on the box to "ON". The "ON" LED should light green, and the 4 status LEDs on the right should be flashing in a circle pattern.

With the "zero" line on the hexgear facing upwards, place the PCB+Case assembly onto programmer.

Press down on the Encoder so that it makes connection with the contacts - the encoder should light up green, and the 4 status LEDs should all flash at once repeatedly.

Press the button. the hex shaft should spin left 90 degrees, then right 90 degrees.

Both the "Prog" and "Test" LEDs should light up green. If either fail, do not continue assembly. Please bag w/ issues written down, and pass on to Engineering (Jon).
If PCB and case are separated after programming, please do not finish assembly, bring to Engineering (Jon).
Fill Box
Layout all parts. (IGNORE THE CAN CABLE)
Build box.
Sometimes it can be helpful to push the wires to the bottom ½ of the bag so they can be folded in half.
Place all wires on top of one another.
Place all wires into assembled box.
Place encoder and hex adapter on top of wires in assembled box.
Close box and seal with clear round sticker. May need to add additional packing tape to keep box closed.
Flip box upside down and place OPS sticker in opening as shown.
